Final pricing, project scope, materials, scheduling, payment terms, and other obligations will be established in the applicable written construction agreement.

No construction work will begin until the required agreements, approvals, and other applicable prerequisites have been satisfied.

4. Construction Agreements and Changes to Scope

Each construction project may require a separate written agreement outlining the services to be performed, project costs, payment schedule, estimated timeline, and other applicable terms.

Any changes to the original project scope, materials, specifications, or schedule must be documented and approved in accordance with the applicable construction agreement and California law.

Additional work may result in additional costs or adjustments to the project timeline.

If these Terms of Service conflict with a signed construction agreement, the construction agreement will govern the specific project to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Scheduling and Project Delays

Project schedules and completion dates may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather conditions, material availability, inspection schedules, permit delays, unforeseen site conditions, subcontractor availability, and other events affecting construction.

DC Building Co. will communicate material scheduling changes as reasonably practicable and will address delays in accordance with the applicable construction agreement and applicable law.

Any project schedule provided before a written agreement is finalized should be treated as preliminary unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Payments, Deposits, and Fees

Payment obligations, deposits, progress payments, and any other project-related charges will be established in the applicable written construction agreement.

Clients agree to make payments according to the agreed payment schedule and applicable law.

Any deposit, cancellation fee, late fee, or other charge must be authorized by the applicable agreement and permitted by law. Deposits and payments will be handled in accordance with applicable California contractor requirements.

Submitting a project inquiry through this website does not create a payment obligation.

7. Cancellations and Termination

Cancellation, suspension, or termination of a construction project will be governed by the applicable written construction agreement and applicable law.

Any warranties applicable to a construction project will be established by the written agreement, applicable manufacturer warranties, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, limits, or modifies any warranty, remedy, or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Clients should refer to their construction agreement for project-specific warranty information and procedures for reporting concerns.

10. Website Content and Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, and other materials, is owned by DC Building Co. or used with permission, unless otherwise indicated.
